Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Rick Bartlett began
his musical career at age 5 singing in church. As a teenager,
Rick led several groups including the Junior Impressions and
Rick Bartlett and Euphrates. While in high school, Rick began
performing with the Kentucky Opera Association. He attended
the University of Louisville School of Music as a voice
performance major.

Rick Bartlett has performed in all types of
venues, including The Supper Club on
Times Square in New York City, the Old
Seelbach Bar in the Seelbach Hotel,
Louisville, aboard the dinner cruise ship
The Star of Louisville. He has performed
many times with the Louisville Orchestra
and has opened for such performers as
Rosemary Clooney, Shirley Bassey,
Melba Moore and Chita Rivera.
Rick's professional career began singing TV and radio
jingles in Cincinnati. Back home, Rick established himself
as a soul singer at the legendary Joe's Palm Room. Rick's
career has also included a variety of stage productions
including portraying the title characer in "The Wiz."

His career has taken him from Louisville to New York,
Orlando, Mainz, Germany, and the Caribbean. Rick
currently resides in Louisville with his wife, Dina.
